Description
Provides income-eligible seniors with food vouchers that can be used at the Lawrence County Farmer's Market. Applications for the voucher program are accepted annually, usually in June, and senior vouchers are distributed on a first come first serve basis.

* Walk-in to complete an application at one of the locations which are scheduled each year to accept the applications; the schedule is posted on Facebook at facebook.com/Lawrence-County-Cooperative-Extension-Service-114243408657110 a few weeks in advance * Seniors who have mobility or transportation issues may authorize a family member or caregiver to complete an application for them, but the person acting as proxy must bring the senior's ID/other documents with them when applying * Call for more information at (606) 673-9495
